He began his musical studies at the Conservatorio de Oviedo in the hands of his father Alfonso Ordieres Rivero, after obtaining the Professional Title of violin he moved to the Royal Conservatory of Madrid where he obtained the Higher Title with his teacher Luis Antón.

He perfected his musical knowledge at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the tutelage of Agustín León Ara, obtaining the First Prizes for Violin and Chamber Music. In this city he also developed a good part of his professional activity in the Teatro de la Monnaie, in the Orchestra of the Belgian Radio Television and concerts of Chamber Music.

His teaching activity started in Belgium where he was a violin teacher at the Municipal Conservatory of Fontaine l'Evêque.
Since 1984 he is a full professor of the National Orchestra of Spain.

In 1990 he founded the Chamber Orchestra "Estudio 21" of which he is director with which he performs concerts, film recordings, TV, records, the recording of the CD "12 songs without words" and school concerts with Fernando Palacios sponsored by Fundación Caja Madrid.
