Born in Checoslovaquia, she started studying the cello when she was 6 years old. When she turned 12, she was admitted at the Prague conservatory, where she studied the cello under Victor Moucka. When she was 15 years old, she was awarded first prize in the Mozart contest. One year later, she won the third place award in the the B. Heran contest. At 21 years old, she finished her studies in the Prague conservatory and continued at the Fine Arts University in Prague. She obtained scholarships for master classes abroad on several occasions. Some of her teachers have been A. Večtomov, M. Sádlo, M. Khomitzer, E. Rautio, L. Mözé, T. Khune and J. Starker.

She started her career path as a teacher when she was only 18 years old and continues to do so today at the Madrid conservatory.

She has worked as a soloist and also as a member of various chamber music groups in the Czech Republic and in Spain. She is presently working at the Orchestra of the Community of Madrid. Amongst other directors she worked under the directions of master Lorin Maazel. She has also participated in performances with famous Opera singers such as Plácido Domingo and Ainhoa Arteta.

She has performed in Europe, Asia, Africa, Mexico and in the United States, highlighting a concert at the Carnegie Hall.

She has performed numerous recordings both in Spain and in the Czech Republic. She has also participated in the recording of music for several movies and has collaborated with the composer and director Alberto Iglesias, winner and nominee of various awards, recording music as a cello soloist for a BBC documentary “Mérida”. Her last recital was in the Spanish national Radio (RNE) playing a piece of the composer Javier Santacreu.

She always includes Spanish and Czech repertoire in her concerts.
