His works have been premiered in Heidelberg (Forum Neue Musik), Salamanca (City of Salamanca Symphonic Orchestra), New York (Yumi Suehiro), Povoa de Varzim (Remix Ensemble, Porto). His chamber opera #RED, based on our new relations with social networks, was premiered in 2014 in Murcia. “Frío de Límites”, composed after the poetry of Antonio Gamoneda and José Ángel Valente, was finalist at the International Composition Competition Povoa de Varzim and included by Plural Ensemble (Spain) in their national tour 2016, being also programmed in Mixtur Festival 2017 (Barcelona).
He studied composition and musicology in his hometown, Murcia, and and Mannheim Musikhochschule (Germany). After getting a Master’s by the University of Granada, he has participated in the PIIISA project between 2014 and 2017, working with teenagers thru music.
Interested in the European perspective, he has worked in the international relations field for the University of Granada and collaborated with the Spanish ministry of Education evaluating Erasmus+ initiatives.
Currently based in Madrid, he develops his composition activity alongside his teaching career in (Progreso Musical Madrid; Real Conservatorio de Música de Albacete; Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Huesca).
