He graduated from the State High Conservatoire in Tbilisi (Georgia) as a violinist with the Honored Diploma. From 1980 to 1983 he was assistant of prof. V.Klimov in the Chaikovsky conservatoire of Moscow .

In 1977 A.Detisov won the first prize at the V Caucasus Competition of violinists. In 1978 he won at the Herbert v. Karajan Competition in the West Berlin with a special high mark personally from H.v.Karajan. In 1979 he was the winner at the I USSR Competition of string quartets.

He has worked as a concertmaster of the State Georgian Symphony Orchestra with D.Kakhidze and performed as a soloist concertos of J.S.Bach, A.Vivaldi, W.A.Mozart, J.Sibelius, P.Chaikovsky and a new pieces by georgian and russian composers.

A.Detisov was invited as a concertmaster to the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra by chief conductors V.Dudarova and P.Kogan and worked with famous conductors and interpretators like G.Rozhdestvensky, M.Rostropovich, V.Gergiev, D.Kitaenko, G.Sokolov, N.Gutman,V.Tretyakov.

He moved to Spain with the chamber orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” and V.Spivakov. He performed the same time in the Spivakov-quartet and the Moscow String Quartet. Their concerts, cycles and CD recordings of Chaikovsky and Borodin aroused a wonderful response in the press. He has a CD with the music of M.Giuliani and recordings for Spanish Classical Radio romantic sonatas of J.Brahms, R.Schumann, C.Cui, A.Rubinstein, N.Medtner, A.Grechaninov and A.Gaos in ensemble with J.Otero and I.Timchenko. In 2012 he played the premiere of a new concert for violin and orchestra by M.Moreno-Buendía.

For several years he was invited to High School of Music “Reina Sofia” in Madrid.

Nowadays he is a professor in the High School Academy “Musical Progress” (Madrid) and has Master Classes in different parts of Spain: Madrid, Asturias, Castellon, Valencia, Badajoz, Burgos, Orihuela.
